Excellent place for family dinner

I went to Svenska for dinner with my family . Nice place and good food. Most important is that ambiance is nice. If you have any special requirement ,waiters and floor chef are more than happy to accommodate .

perfect buffet with right mix of Dishes & varieties.

They offer two buffet options- 599 / - and 699 / - per person. Both have equally good wide spread to offer. The staff is perfect. The service is just top notch. The chicken dishes especially the peri peri chicken are to die to for. They have some vCloud royalty programme wherein they give a free champagne bottle. The starters and pizza are very filling enough to leave no space for the Main stuff.Advisable to go empty stomach to enjoy the entire wide spread. Panner tikka babycorn ,leek soup and creamy pasta are their signature dishes. The ambience is very soothing and serene.

Great place..

Ambiance scores high at this restaurant and is beautifully designed and is amazing with well lighting in the indoor seating area. Different sections are available for everyone. In the bar area they have a variety of cocktails, mock-tails and liquor available. Food is delicious, service is moderate though. Value for money.
A fine place to relax over dinner with family, friends or with that special someone!

Really good

Its really among the best looking lounge bars in the city. Though small in size, but its really chic, stylish and trendy. Their beverage menu is pretty exhaustive and prices are reasonable. All Day Happy Hours daily make it even more as they give 1 drink free for every 1 drink bought on selected IMFL brands. They also have a Fosters bucket offer. But the best part are their starters, Mediterranean section, with tapas and gourmet pizzas from wood-fired oven. Even the Indian menu with kebabs and tikkas is pretty decent. Highly recommend as the perfect place for a chilled out evening with great ambiance, good DJ music and outstanding starters..

To my delight food was excellent and service was very quick , the staff basically anticipate your needs before you could ask them , the staff was very friendly and courteous and very helpful . The buffet spread is amazing specially the pizzas and pastas . Chats are very very tasty and deserts mouthwatering . Only prawns dishes were missing . i Surely recommend everyone to try this buffet . Amazing !!!

I just fall in love with the food over there whenever I visit this place. Amazing stuff on the special wood-fired oven festival menu. Been there three times this month already and each time have discovered flavors that I didn't know were available in India. Desserts are to die for and main course as well.

Superb ambience

Superb ambience, good music, fantastic atmosphere, energetic crowd. Overall you can really let your hair down at this place.
Even though it was a Tuesday night, there was a good amount of crowd here and a buzzing atmosphere. The weekends would presumably be even crazier. The food was decently good, and there's a pretty good variety to choose from.
Pretty decently priced, and one can easily go here with friends whether you just want to talk.

One day office Seminar

We had a one day seminar at Svenska. Everything from the Seminar Room, sound systems, tech assistance from the Hotel, immediate resolution to crisis was met with enthusiasm and quick response. Menu for Buffet was well thought and suggested By Ms Rupa and Sanam. We would like to thank Svenska for such an amazing experience!!
Look forward to many such associations in the future

Fantastic Global Buffet

I have always been a big fan of this small but delightful restaurant in the boutique hotel, Svenska. Now they have taken it several notches higher with the newly launched Global Buffet. Its a lavish spread, but more than that, most of the stuff is made freshly in their interactive kitchen. And the starters just keep coming and coming. Didn't have any space for the main course or the desserts by the time we were done with the fabulous food from the multiple live counters. The service is exceptional as always and the ambiance, especially during the dinners, is out of the world. Overall, lavish stuff at great value for money prices. Highly recommend!

Weekday dinner at Miro

Went on a Wednesday night for dinner with my wife.. I love places that are not too crowded and where the waiters dont bug you every other minute however u put up your hand and there is a waiter running to your table to serve you.. Miro can be really crowded on weekends but i was happily surprised on this specific wednesday night.. perfect ambience, candle light all over the place, awesome lounge music and the service was perfect.. has a non veg fondue and crab meat pasta.. the meat was really fresh and the crab meat was out of the world.. the portion size was enough to get 2 of us happily packed!! :)

Food & hospitality at its best...

I happened to visit this place on our 3 rd anniversary with my fiancé on a Sunday. We managed to get the booking only because we booked a day in advance. They tend to be packed for Sunday brunch’s.. I was very well guided through by Ms Nikita who took our bookings & ensured us we found our way to the place. Miro restaurant, Miro is pretty cozy, but tends to be a little crampy when packed…especially on Sundays. They have a wide global spread of menu with lots of options for both vegans & meat eaters. The staff is courteous & helpful. They look after your comfort & don’t make you feel left out even in the crowd. Apart from salads & deserts everything is served to you on-table. Mr Smith, the person who attended us was warm & friendly. He welcomed us with a refreshing welcome drink . About the food: Salads are great, especially the chicken salami cold cut salad & the pasta salads. The starters are good, fish & chicken kebabs being the best part. Panner machurian was a bit disappointment. Pizza was cheesy & gooey wooden baked just the way we ordered them to..Dim-sums were fresh & delicious. Main course is a good spread, but you wouldn’t care much with it since you will have your stomachs full by then. In the desert the fruit yogurt & seb ki kheer ( almost like payasam with apple flavor & dry-fruits) was awesome. The black-forest gateaux was not too bad either. Overall you have about 30-40 varieties to choose from in the menu at a moderate price of 725/- AI.
Overall it was a wonderful experience. Their hospitality was just amazing, which can take away the small tit-bits of remarks about the food I put in.

Had A GALA time!!!

Miro, a small little restaurent @ Svenska, might not appeal at first sight, but as and when you settle down, it is worth for every penny. The staff is very friendly, the ambience is good, tables are big enough for a buffet style meal. The food is simply awesome. The Pizza's, Pasta's, Chinese, Thai and Indian, everything was so perfect. May be they can have some better selection in desserts, but I am not a big dessert fan, so not a problem for me. Overall was very good family lunch experience.

Totally pathetic...Extremely pricy...Not worth it

Miro Lounge according to us was really pathetic..The charges were exorbitant..Specially the taxes..They charged us 32.5% tax on alcohol and soft drinks on the entire bill. On food they tax us around 28%...I really think it was not worth that much...The service was okay but the manager out there was very rude..We are surely not gonna visit this place again...The ambiance was also not that great too...

AMazing..!!

For all that one may expect from Svesnka’s signature Mediterranean and Spanish cuisine restaurant, Miro definitely likes to be understated. The restaurant has a lounge section where the interiors are rather bland and a yellow-bricked live kitchen stands as the centerpiece where chefs meticulously work, preparing tapas and pinchos and other Spanish delights. The patatas brava, like all other tapas, was served with three dipping sauces and a potion of Spanish garlic bread making it a wholesome appetizer for two of my office colleagues and me. One of them had booked us a table through www.urbanrestro.com which also gave a decent discount apart from free table booking. The wood-burnt pizza was a good break from Domino’s and used a delicate tangy tomato sauce.
All in all a little expensive (thank god for the discount!) but a good experience.

Yucks!!!

I would normally not say that about a restaurant or food. This was a baaaaad experience. Although we went there to dine over the weekend, the place was empty and the service still slow. The food was stale which is what happens when restaurants are slow and the explanations to all our complaints were priceless.

Reality check! Guys, not all your customers are dumb and there are some excuses that just won't fly with me especially when I have the advantage of having worked in restaurants before.

Sincere word of advice....stop charging the moon and then serving crap.

Too expensive

I went to this place for dinner along with my husband a few days ago, the services were good, the food was average, Its a so called Spanish restaurant however i couldn't get a veg option for Payaya a Spanish dish which i wanted to have ! they have really few Spanish dishes on the menu ! And the prices are too much compared to any other fine dining restaurant, i would suggest you should lower down your prices a bit more, or offer some special packages !

Good food and great service

My wife, son and I just came back from a dinner at Miro. Refreshingly different cuisine, good food and even better service. The decor is very elegant as well. Even the beverages we ordered were very good. Highly recommended, though a bit heavy on the wallet.

Expected more

Miro restaurant house in the svenska design hotels..well considering the set up i was expecting a lot more....went ahead for the brunch at rs 599..which included unlimited fosters beer and their global cuisine buffet...well obviously the beer did do justice...but the food did not......at the salad and appetizer counter i kept searching...damn it wheres my meat...but however there was jus a pineapple chicken salad..and sea bassa fish cold cuts...the fish was decent but still you would expect more for the amount your paying. The pita bread and hummus were a life saver....on the main course nothing that really satisfied my palate...a thai based fried fish which was ok, a lamb dish which wasnt that great and a indian chicken dish!!!kept my hopes on their thin crust pizzas which was not that great...something is really wrong with their dough that it makes it crack like papad...and the pizza sauce lacks the flavor....al in all jus an average experience...but if u have ur girl/wife or good company and the beer...u shud survive through!!!

Sunday Brunch! Blissful.

This Sunday, we just decided to drop at Miro for brunch. I keep visiting various fine dine spots, the interior of this place was very cozy and gave a homely vibe. The chefs were extremely humble, explained everything. We had five course meal, soup (tomato garlic herb), salads (tuna, smoked chicken, soya, lettuce, baby potatoes, zucchini, baby corns), starters (fish in Mexican herbs tossed with fresh lime juice and chicken in mayo-garlic sauce), pasta in white sauce with smoked chicken and exotic herbs, roasted chicken, mushroom, mozzarella cheese freshly baked pizza and baked coconut-mango cake, caramel egg cake. They also served unlimited sparkling white wine, with variety of fresh breads, assorted cheese. All for @699 only. Adil was the person, who helped us with all sorts of information about the food which was served. He had answer for all my queries, and his smile was infectious. I enjoyed my meal with my wife, and it was a great experience. Will surely recommend this place.
I asked Adil, that why they are not so much active on Burrp? He politely replied that the website doesn't think too good about the place, the review was not great. But, I guess, he is mistaken. This is the right place to promote good food. For those who are looking at pure Italian, Mexican and Spanish Brunch, this is the place. Go for it.
And don't miss Adil, he is the man who will take you through the history of Miro's paintings and extremely well informed about his vocation. He mentioned Joan Miro
was a surrealistic artist, from Spain, 1893-1983. We were impressed with the food and with his knowledge.

Different but expensive

Saturday night - We did not have a reservation anywhere and were struggling to find a place when we reached here. Only 2 tables occupied at 9pm on a Saturday night! No valet parking guy was available out side. Thats a big put off for me.

The place has been done very nicely. The ambiance is very good. The live Guitarist and singer was good.

The problem started when the menu was handed to us. Most restaurants have an explanation below for foreign items but this one had none. It becomes very difficult to order just based on the names. Thankfully, both my girlfriend and I have toured Europe extensively and we could make some sense of it. We asked the waiter for the rest.

The restaurant must understand that for cuisines which are new, the customers need education. Though the waiters were very courteous and sweet talking I don't think they ave been trained enough to talk about Spanish food.

We ordered the wine leaf wrapped Brie. It was different (my girlfriend hated it!) and like the brie cheese but the portions were too less! 4 pieces for an astronomical amount! I'm sure even the biggest connoisseurs of food will agree with me on this one. It's not like you're sitting at the Taj you know! The classic patatas with the 3 dips(green hummus, garlic aioli and Black Olive Tapenade) was awesome and we really liked it. I must mention here that the waiter forgot to give us the dips and we had long started eating the bland patatas when he realised it!

The grilled vegetables with camembert was another interesting item but it was priced very obscenely again. The quantity of the portion does not justify the price at all.

The Tartuffo Hot Chocolate Mud Cake with cold chocolate covered gelato was really very good and I highly recommend that.

We loved the ambiance and it was nice to spend some quiet time together. It was a different food experience but if they want this place to take off it needs a lot more effort to educate people about the spanish cuisine and culture. Pricing is just obscene and I see a lot of saturdays with empty tables at this rate. You may have the most exclusive stuff but it price still needs a justification.

We spent over Rs. 2300 for two

Great Experience

We were lucky enough to catch the food tasting week !! for 1099 + taxes a veggie food tasting was offered to us ...... The ambiance may be a typical uber-chic fine-dining restaurant but once you taste the food its a completely different experience.... Each Dish has a distinct flavor and so far loved all the Food presented ( which was considerable in variety - 2 soups 5 starters a main course and dessert ) ... a Must try i'd say although for the calorie counters forget the diet tonight :P
