Alipore zoo is one of Kolkata's very old heritage places. It has got a vast area with a good collection of different types of birds along with other animals like tiger, lion, rhino, elephant, giraffe, deer, monkey etc etc. Although u will see many cages are empty and maintenance of animals and cages are also very poor. If they take good care and utilize the the place properly it could be a great place for day-out.
