This is my first review of any restaurant and that's Amara. I with my wife went for a Dinner Buffet on 17th September. We had made prior reservation to the place. This was our first visit to Trident. What an awesome experience it was.
The moment we entered Trident from the lobby to the restaurant, from the guard to the receptionist, everyone was so nice. The receptionist guided us the way to the restaurant. The moment we entered Amara there was a person to welcome us. She guided us to our seat. We never felt as if its the first time we have been there. They were so friendly with us. The staff made us sit and helped us with the soup. For us there were 4 to 5 staffs taking care and made us really comfortable.
We went to have a look at the menu. The chef met us and asked if he had permission to explain us of the menu. He showed us the entire buffet and explained us on every food item. We started with Appollo Fish , Chilli paneer and chicken tikka. We also had dahi vad and chaat which were equally delicious. In main course the Chicken Biryani, Rarrah Ghost was out of the world. They were so delicious. One of the staff came and asked us if we want anything special in main course. We requested for some Bengali Dish. The chef cooked the Bengali beguni fish curry especially for us. It was yummy. We also had mushroom, pasta and shrimp curry.
We ended up with nice deserts. The Alphonso Mango Ice- cream was superb. We were there for couple of hours and we were taken care of so nicely. I want to make special note of the staff " Lakshman". He was so caring and courteous. He changed our plates on time and offered us service on the table. After we were done with the food he did mention about the special carribean nights and other Amara Specials. We left the venue with a smile and a content to visit the place again soon. The hospitality was such a top class affair and I have fallen in love with the place. See you Amara soon.
